Lima, Peru

After a wonderful ~2 months in Ecuador, we headed to Lima, Peru. We heard mixed reviews about the City but very much enjoyed our time there! So much so, that we are heading back there now for a few more days.

Lima as a whole is a very large and sprawling city with a gorgeous sprawling coast line, and solid surf! We took surf classes one morning and Z caught some pretty good waves while A got rocked by some, but it was very fun (I guess summer school for Z in Hawaii paid off ;) ).

We also went to the Larco Museum which has an incredible private collection of pre-columbian art in a former home (mansion) with stunning gardens.

And, finally, we ate and ate and ate in Lima. We definitely tried many new places and ate some incredible meals including ceviches, fish dishes, fresh hearts of palm salad, amazonian style food and many more Peruvian dishes!

So for those thinking of traveling to Lima, come hungry and treat yourself!
